Stan Lambert

Stan Lambert is a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 71. Lambert was first elected to the chamber in 2016. Lambert is running for re-election in 2018. The primary election took place on March 6, 2018. The general election is being held on November 6, 2018.
Lambert formerly represented Place 6 on the Abilene ISD board of trustees in Texas. He first won election to the board in 2006 and served until his resignation in December 2016.
Lambert earned his bachelor's degree in business from Abilene Christian University. He later earned a graduate degree in banking from Southern Methodist University. Lambert has worked as the senior vice president of Coleman County State Bank. He has also served as the mayor of Ennis, Texas, and the treasurer of the North Texas Council of Governments. Lambert and his wife, Debbie, have two adult children.
