Budget

1. In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
- No

2. In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing defense spending?
- No

3. Other or expanded principles
- I would rather address the current issue of raising revenue to reduce deficit specific, than by assuming it's just about raising taxes. For example, raising the cap on FICA for large employers in the private sector and requiring those same employers to provide affordable health care options based on their earnings.

Administrative Priorities

Please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- Equal pay and paid family leave, which doesn't cost the federal government anything. Improve access and affordability of health care. The first step would be to give Medicare the ability to negotiate the costs of prescription drugs and requiring private companies to offer affordable health insurance to their employees based on their earnings and a vesting schedule for longer tenured employees, so when they retire they can still have access to the employer's health care plan to the age 65.
