Tim Rounds (b. November 17, 1959) is a Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 24. He was first elected to the chamber in 2002. Rounds previously served in the state House from 2003 to 2011. He was ineligible to run in 2010 under South Dakota's term limits.

Rounds' professional experience includes working as a supervising adjuster for GAB Rubins and owner of Central Adjusting. He earned his B.S. from Black Hills State University in 1983.

- Economic development is the key issue facing our state. Using the natural resources available and providing infrastructure will allow businesses to develop or to expand, resulting in a broader tax base and increased revenues to fund other important programs, such as education. The other priority is keeping and improving the high quality of life in South Dakota. Ideas funded by broadening the tax base, which will increase sales tax revenues, and the Internet sales tax.
