TJ Dow is a Democratic candidate for District 10 of the Ohio House of Representatives. The primary election is being held on May 8, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
Dow was a nonpartisan Ward 7 representative on the Cleveland City Council in Ohio. He was first elected to serve a partial term on city council in a special election in 2008, following the death of former Ward 7 representative Fannie Lewis. He won election to a full term in 2009. Dow lost a re-election campaign in the general election on November 7, 2017.
Dow holds an M.P.A. from Cleveland State University and a J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. His professional experience includes working as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office and as a Legislative Aide for the Cleveland City Council.
