- One of my top goals will be to reconfigure the remaining boards affected by the Separation of Powers Amendment approved by voters in 2004. As a member of the Senate Government Oversight Committee, I sponsored legislation and voted to reconstruct many boards to comply with the Separation of Powers Amendment. I will work to secure state funding for bay monitoring and habitat restoration and encourage renewable energy projects in R.I. I will continue to be a strong advocate for Narragansett Bay, our watersheds and R.I. agriculture.
