Wendy Sue Johnson (Democrat) was a candidate who sought election to the Wisconsin State Assembly to represent District 68. Johnson lost the general election on November 6, 2018, after advancing from the primary on August 14, 2018.

Johnson was appointed to the Eau Claire Area School Board after board member Trish Cummins resigned on August 3, 2015. She opted not to run to maintain the seat in the April 2016, at-large election.

Johnson graduated from Eau Claire North High School in 1987, earned a bachelor's degree in social studies and education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1992 and a J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law in 2009. An attorney with Klemish & Johnson, LLC, she previously worked for Cray, Asher & Raihle and Herrick & Hart.
