- My top legislative priorities include:(1) The promotion of clean alternative energy such as wind energy off of Virginia's coast-line. This will create green jobs in Virginia. Additional funding directly state may not be required, but I would propose a tax credit for those companies that start the process.(2) Promoting Universal pre-K by providing tax credits to companies that provide programs on their work site.(3) Implementing a rental assistance program for Virginia's families who are facing living on the streets. The fund for this would come from surplus TANF funds. This would save Virginia money on rental assistance.
