John Patterson is a Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 99. Patterson is running for re-election in the primary on May 8, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
Patterson earned his bachelor's degree from Marietta College, his master's degree in political science from Ohio University and his Ph.D. in education from Kent State University. His professional experience includes teaching history at Jefferson Area High School for 29 years prior to his retirement in June 2012.
