Reason for Seeking Public Office:

You might be wondering: "What would prompt a 26-year-old teacher to run for state office?' I think that deserves a fair answer. The truth is that I've always loved political affairs and have been involved in whatever I could be involved in since being a boy. In college, I enjoyed getting involved in local campaigns through the College Republicans, but always voted and kept a connection here at home where I belong. I do not believe I have the right to be elected, nor do I think anyone has. I do not have a laundry list of boards, organizations, or positions I have served in, but I do have a listening ear and a servant's heart. That and my integrity is what I will take to Lansing. That's what I would want to see in someone aspiring to this high office, so that is why I have chosen to run.
