10-day sentence for behavior during court appearance

In an April 2012 hearing with the Hamilton County Criminal Court over a traffic violation, Marceaux was sentenced to 10 days of work at Hamilton County's Silverdale Correctional Facility for deriding the judge. According to Judge Rebecca Stern's statement, “ The defendant's conduct included a verbal display of disagreement with the court's ruling, telling the court that was 'out of order' and that when the defendant wins an election the court 'is going down.' ”
