Bert Brackett is a Republican member of the Idaho State Senate, representing District 23. Brackett was first elected to the chamber in 2008. Brackett is running for re-election in the primary on May 15, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.

Brackett previously served in the Idaho House of Representatives from 2005 to 2008.

Brackett earned his B.S. from the University of Idaho in 1966. His professional experience includes working as a cattle rancher.
