May 9, 2020The coronavirus pandemic has been a godsend for Democrats trying to keep Joe Biden off of the campaign trail where he has been plagued by gaffes and other mishaps.
Unfortunately, the borderline senile former vice president isn't doing much better in his virtual town halls, interviews and other events which have been delivered from his home in Delaware.

Now lunchbucket Joe is being mocked after his virtual campaign rally in the important Tampa Bay area became a roaring dumpster fire that was plagued by technical glitches and the candidate's own bumbling.
The "rally" which took place on Thursday night and featured local Democrat politicians including the party-switching former Florida Governor Charlie Crist who is now in Congress was doomed from the get-go.
From the minute that the latest designated Trump slayer uttered the words “They introduce me? Am I on?” it was destined to become an epic failure that did little to instill confidence in the 77-year-old career politician.
the 47 minute torture session which was livestreamed on YouTube featured a multitude of audio problems, pixelated images and even a blank screen at one point.
Via Fox News, "Biden mocked for tech glitches in virtual Tampa campaign rally":
Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, sequestered in his Delaware home with in-person campaign operations halted because of the coronavirus, attempted to hold a campaign rally for voters in Tampa Bay, Fla., on Thursday night, but the glitch-riddled event instead drew mockery from Republicans and the media.
Shaky audio and video plagued the nearly hourlong event as Florida politicians, among them Rep. Charlie Crist and Rep. Kathy Castor, tried to bring the former vice president's message to voters through the numerous technological issues. Then, nearly 40 minutes into the rally, it was Biden's turn to speak.
The event was streamed on YouTube and preserved on WTSP Tampa Bay 10's YouTube channel.
"They introduced me? Am I on?" Biden asked someone off-screen as he approached the camera, taking off a pair of dark aviator sunglasses.
Good evening, thanks so much for tuning in. I wish we could have done this together and it [had] gone a little more smoothly but I'm grateful we're able to connect virtually and thank you..." Biden continued before his audio feed became unintelligible mid-sentence.
The audio and video problems continued through Biden's speech, with the former vice president's lips moving out of sync with the sound and a significant amount of his talk impossible to understand through the tech problems.
The mockery was swift and savage:
How bad was it?
Even the far-left website Vice.com piled on, describing it as being:
"so plagued by technical problems it looked like it was being run by local seniors attempting Zoom for the first time."
OUCH!

President Trump's campaign was quick to pounce on the disastrous outing with a statement posing the legitimate question that if Biden "can’t run a livestream, how can we expect him to run our country?”
“Joe Biden’s ‘virtual rally’ was a fundamentally unserious comedy of errors that displayed the depths of his campaign’s incompetency,” spokesperson Emma Vaughn said. “Even if he had addressed his credible sexual assault allegations, no one would have been able to understand through the awful audio. If he can’t run a livestream, how can we expect him to run our country?”
Biden's Florida team was quick to fly into damage control and is promoting a doctored version of the disaster with the technical problems and the candidate's tripping over his own tongue edited out.
It has not been a good spring for Biden whose head of steam after the DNC rigged the primaries against Bernie Sanders once again has now dissipated while the presumptive nominee is dogged by sexual assault allegations and the incompetence of his own team.
One has to wonder when the plug will be pulled on Biden and Hillary will swoop in to save the party.
