Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair Tom Perez is calling on officials in Iowa to recanvass the failed caucus vote in Iowa after the official results still have yet to come out.
"Enough is enough," Perez tweeted. "In light of the problems that have emerged in the implementation of the delegate selection plan and in order to assure public confidence in the results, I am calling on the Iowa Democratic Party to immediately begin a recanvass," he said.
Check out what NBC News reported:
A recanvass is essentially a double-checking of the vote. Iowa officials would have to hand audit the caucus worksheets and reporting forms to ensure that they were correctly calculated and reported.
As of Thursday morning, former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg was clinging to the narrowest of leads in Iowa over Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., on Thursday, with 97 percent of the caucus vote released.
Buttigieg was at 26.2 percent and Sanders had 26 percent, with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., running behind the pair of leaders at 18.2 percent. Former Vice President Joe Biden had 15.8 percent, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., at 12.2 percent and other candidates were in low single digits.
Iowa Democratic caucus results are not actual votes cast. The percentages, based on partial returns of the estimated number of state convention delegates won by each candidate through the caucus process, are known as state delegate equivalents, or SDEs.
The totals were put out by the Iowa Democratic Party over the past two days after chaos over the caucuses on Monday night. More data may be released on Thursday.
The Iowa caucus was a total disaster and President Trump is taking notice. On Tuesday morning, the President took a victory lap when he trolled Democrats for their total disaster in Iowa.
“Big WIN for us in Iowa tonight. Thank you!” the President tweeted while referring to his primary win over Republican candidates Bill Weld and Joe Walsh.
President Trump jumped back on Twitter a couple hours later to hammer the Democratic party for botching the 2020 Iowa caucus.
“The Democrat Caucus is an unmitigated disaster,” President Trump tweeted. “Nothing works, just like they ran the Country. Remember the 5 Billion Dollar Obamacare Website, that should have cost 2% of that. The only person that can claim a very big victory in Iowa last night is ‘Trump.'”
“When will the Democrats start blaming RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, instead of their own incompetence for the voting disaster that just happened in the Great State of Iowa?” he added. “The Democrat Party in Iowa really messed up, but the Republican Party did not. I had the largest re-election vote in the history of that great state, by far, beating President Obama’s previous record by a lot. Also, 97% Plus of the vote! Thank you Iowa!”

The Iowa caucus was a total disaster considering the DNC's primary voting system appears to be a failing fraud.
Check out what the Daily Wire reported:
Indeed, the $60,000 app designed to manage the Iowa caucus melted down completely just as results were first being reported, leaving frustrated Iowa Democrats on hold with helplines, unable to tabulate votes or calculate a winner. The party reported, early Tuesday, that the process was marred by “inconsistencies” and “coding errors,” but there’s no indication that any aspect of the reporting process worked correctly.
Former South Bend mayor Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) both declared victory in Monday’s contest, but the Iowa Democrat Party says the official results won’t be available until late Tuesday at the earliest. Most of the Democratic candidates have already left Iowa for New Hampshire, unaware of who will move into the first-in-the-nation primary at the head of the pack.
President Trump's campaign also made sure to comment on the "unmitigated disaster" in Iowa.
“Democrats are stewing in a caucus mess of their own creation with the sloppiest train wreck in history. It would be natural for people to doubt the fairness of the process. And these are the people who want to run our entire health care system?” said President Trump’s campaign manager, Brad Parscale. “Tonight President Trump posted a record performance in the well-run GOP Iowa caucuses with record turnout for an incumbent.”
“They can’t even run a caucus and they want to run the government,” Parscale tweeted. “No thank you.”
