Legislative Priorities

1. In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, any additional priorities of your campaign that have not been covered in these questions.
- As a state legislator, I'm extremely proud to have championed a wide array of issue areas that are in need of reform in New Jersey. In my first few days in office, I took on overhauling sexual harassment policies that were outdated. I've fought for government transparency, which has been a priority of mine on all levels of government and authored a new law to help our home healthcare workers care for their patients. And, I'm now working on protecting the rights for people with disabilities and tackling the mental health challenges facing many families.

2. In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top legislative priority and how you plan to fund it.
- I've been leading the fight to protect critical funding to advocate for Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, which has been on the state government chopping block. These resources allow New Jersey to fight for missions to run through the joint base and prevent the base from being downsized or closed in the next round of Base Realignment and Closure Commission (BRAC). The funding pays for itself because at risk would be $7 billion in economic activity to the State of New Jersey.
