Chris R. Holden (b. July 19, 1960) is a Democratic member of the California State Assembly, representing District 41. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012. He has served as a member of the Pasadena City Council for the past 15 years, including briefly serving as mayor in the 1990s. He currently serves as State Assembly Majority Floor Leader and was State Assembly Assistant Majority Floor Leader from 2013 to 2014.

Holden earned his bachelor's degree in business from San Diego State University in 1982. He then ran for the Pasadena City Council but was not elected. Four years later, he won election and has served on the council since.
