Legislative Priorities

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- (1) Fully funding our public schools. No vouchers, or private institutions or charters schools if they take dollars away from public schools. A solid public education is critical for every Georgian. Raise salaries for both teachers and staff & reduce class size. (2) People should have access to quality affordable healthcare while protecting their preexisting conditions. Expand Medicaid. Healthy Georgians benefit everyone.(3) Gerrymandering. Voters should pick their representatives, not the other way around. We need a bi-partisan/neutral committee to resolve this issue. Fair boundaries are critical for our democracy.
