The Government's Role
The government's job is to protect its citizens and provide a framework to meet the basic needs of the community. To that end, it must foster a public standard of living consistent with the U.S. Constitution.

For example:

The government should tell farmers they can't have slaves work their fields.
The government should not tell farmers what crops to plant.
The government should tell big pharmaceutical companies they can't charge a month's salary for one pill.
The government should not tell doctors what medical treatments to prescribe and/or perform.
