1. Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
- Pro-choice
2. Other or expanded principles
- While I am personally pro-life, I do not believe that the government should legislate this, as there are a myriad of beliefs in regard to when life begins. For some it is heartbeat, others conception, and some it is first breath. I generally fall under the category of viability of the baby as a cut off.

By Craig Bowden Eleven years ago, I swore an oath to support and defend my country and its people as a United States Marine. For me, that oath had no expiration. I have watched over the years as many politicians put their own interests above the will and the good of the people. Because of that oath I took, I decided to take a stand to defend your rights and represent the will of the people in Utah's 1st Congressional District. The road to start recovering our nation needs to begin to be paved in this generation and not passed onto the next. We have seen liberty shrink with programs like the Patriot Act, indefinite detention, and many Homeland Security protocols. We have watched as our money is spent bailing out faulty businesses practices, fighting wars around the world, subsidizing corporations, and investing in failed technologies. We have experienced where red tape is stifling production, killing jobs, and hurting our veterans. It is time to cut red tape. It is time to stop spending away our children's future. It is time to defend liberty for everyone, and not the select few who can afford to play in the political arena. The only way this happens is if we challenge the status quo and elect someone who will fight every day to lose power, not gain it. It is my pledge to the voters of Utah's 1st District that I am such a candidate. Every idea I have proposed throughout my campaign has been an idea that takes something from government and gives it back to you. It is up to you this November to decide what path we will take together.
