Tarver charged after carrying gun with no valid permit

Jan. 1, 1900

In November 2019, Tarver was pulled over for a broken headlight by Chicago police. After they spotted a handgun in his car and determined his concealed carry license had been revoked, they arrested him. Tarver was charged with a misdemeanor count of not having a valid concealed carry permit and was cited for a broken headlight. The police released him on bail several hours after his arrest. On August 4, 2020, the misdemeanor charge was dropped because of insufficient evidence.
