Danny Watson is a Republican member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, representing District 3. He was first elected to the chamber in 2016. Watson is running for re-election in the primary on May 22, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
Watson received a degree in wildlife management from La. Tech University and graduated from the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy. He worked as a transportation/safety director from 1999 to 2015 and now works as a safety consultant. Watson served the Hope Police Dept and Arkansas Highway Police from 1985 to 1999. In 2000 Watson was elected to the Hope School Board of Directors and served there until 2015. In 2008 he was elected to the Hempstead County Quorum Court.
