Dems Demand Bolton Testimony After NY Times Publishes Leaked Book Excerpt
January 27, 2020Democrats got a big helping hand from the New York Times on Sunday after a leaked book excerpt from fired national security adviser John Bolton.
According to the New York Times latest publication of a story fed to them by a leaker with ulterior motives, the mustachioed neocon claims that President Trump withheld aid to Ukraine unless there was an investigation of the corrupt Biden clan.
Democrats and Mitt Romney have been clamoring for Bolton's testimony and with the vote on witnesses scheduled for later this week, the Times story could be just what the doctor ordered for the engineers of the coup against Trump.

As an arrogant warmongering egomaniac, the disgruntled Bolton has a score to settle with President Trump and hopes to pocket some dough from book sales and the star treatment that he would receive from the resistance media.
Via The Hill, "Democrats step up pressure over witnesses after Bolton bombshell":
Democrats are stepping up pressure on Republicans to support calling witnesses as part of President Trump's impeachment trial after a bombshell New York Times report Sunday evening.
The Times, citing sources familiar with former national security adviser John Bolton's unpublished memoir, reported that Bolton claims President Trump sought to tie $391 million in aid to Ukraine to his requests for the country's leaders to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. The Hill has not seen or verified the manuscript.
Democrats, including House impeachment managers, immediately seized on the report, arguing it underscores the need for Bolton and other administration officials to testify.
"John Bolton has the evidence," Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) wrote in a tweet. "It’s up to four Senate Republicans to ensure that John Bolton, Mick Mulvaney, and the others with direct knowledge of President Trump’s actions testify in the Senate trial."
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said the Times report gave Republican senators a choice between "our Constitution or a cover-up."
It's Deep State narrative engineering at its finest and coming the day before Trump's defense team will present their case, smacks of more collusion between Adam Schiff's staff and the corrupt media.
While Bolton's agent accuses that the fired bureaucrat didn't have a hand in the timely release of the details of the unpublished manuscript that had been submitted to the NSC, it doesn't pass the smell test.
Despite a well-documented history that Bolton is a snake, President Trump went ahead and hired him anyway which even surpasses Omarosa as the worst personnel decision that he made during his tenure.

Like Omarosa, Bolton quickly put together a tell-all book albeit with a much different motivation, one which should have questions posed as to whether he himself is a part of the impeachment set-up and has been from the beginning.
President Trump was quick to respond to the Times report and took to Twitter to rebut Bolton's claims as well as to accuse him of only trying to sell a book.
Democrats were reeling after opening arguments from the president's defense team which demolished their case in a matter of hours and will continue to do so over the next two days but this has always been about circumventing the courts and getting Bolton on the stand to exact his revenge.
The Bolton book all but assures that Romney will intensify his efforts to lure Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and others to vote for anti-Trump witnesses while denying any that would help him and allow Adam Schiff to hijack the Senate.
The same Bolton who was despised by Democrats when he worked for George W. Bush is about to become the next hero of the resistance.
