FLASHBACK: Liberals Violently Rioted In 2017 Before Trump's Inauguration; Here's Video Proof
January 16, 2021As Marxist Democrats, #NeverTrump Republicans, and the deep state conspire to create the false narrative that the riot at the U.S. Capitol Building earlier this month was a) ‘incited’ by President Trump; and 2) an ‘insurrection,’ it should be noted that very similar acts occurred in Washington, D.C. just four short years ago when Trump was inaugurated.
How that all turned out will infuriate most readers.

As of this writing, the FBI and other authorities have arrested at least 120 people in connection with the Capitol riot – and that’s all it was, by the way, just a riot.
Not a coup. Not a plot to overthrow the government.
Just a riot – like those that have been occurring all over the country since before Trump took office.
Including in Washington, D.C., which brings us to this video montage review via Mark Dice:
After all was said and done, more than 214 people were arrested.
“On the morning of January 20, protests over Donald Trump’s inauguration turned violent when black-clad ‘anti-fascist’ protesters smashed storefronts and bus stops, hammered out the windows of a limousine, and eventually launched rocks at a phalanx of police,” CNN reported Feb. 22, 2017.
The network went on to report that felony rioting in D.C. carried a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and $25,000 in fines.
“The indictment accuses the defendants of using a tactic called ‘Black Bloc’ in which people conceal their identities with dark or black clothing and accessories such as scarves, sunglasses, helmets, and masks,” the network added.
But in the end, as The Associated Press reported 18 months later, not a single rioter was convicted:
The US government is dropping charges against the last 39 people accused of participating in a violent protest on the day of Donald Trump’s inauguration.
Friday’s motion to dismiss charges seemingly ends an 18-month saga that started with the justice department attempting to convict more than 190 people.
That effort saw the government facing off against an intensely coordinated grassroots political opposition network that made Washington the focus of a nationwide support campaign offering free lodging for defendants, legal coordination and other support.

Nowadays, when Black Lives Matter and Antifa riot in D.C. as they did last summer, the real supporters of insurrection – Democrats – justify and celebrate it by raising bail money and painting BLM murals on streets.
No wonder a huge (and growing) number of Americans are angry and frustrated; the hypocrisy on the left is as obvious as it is stifling.
