We need to change our laws in TN regarding valid IDs before we start turning folks away from the polls.

Legislative Priorities

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- 1) Expand Medicaid - Gov. Haslam's "Insure Tennessee" is already paid for via the federal government and TN Hospital Association. Cost to take care of >300,000 Tennesseans, including >40,000 veterans, is $0.00! The money coming back to TN via expansion would help fight our opioid crisis and provide more mental health services.2) Protect and Fully Fund Public Education by defeating any measures that promotes public charter schools or use of vouchers. Additionally, promote career-based vocational education.3) Enhance School Safety by ensuring we have an adequate number of Student Resource Officers in EVERY school in TN. NO armed teachers!
