Jean M. Hunhoff (b. December 30, 1953) is a Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 18. She was first elected to the chamber in 2014.

Hunhoff served in the South Dakota State Senate, representing District 18 from 2006 to 2015. Hunhoff did not run for re-election to the South Dakota State Senate in 2014. She previously served in the South Dakota House of Representatives from 2001 to 2007.

Hunhoff earned her B.S.N. from South Dakota State University in 1976. She went on to receive her M.S.N. from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1978. She then earned her M.H.A. from the University of Minnesota in 1991.

Hunhoff worked as a registered nurse for Sioux Valley Hospital from 1976 to 1977. She worked as a health educator for Sandhills Visiting Nurses Association from 1979 to 1980. She then worked as Assistant Clinical Director of Nursing for Avera Sacred Heart Hospital from 1980 to 1982. She has worked as Homecare Mentor/Homecare Services Director for Avera Sacred Heart Hospital since 1982. She has also worked as Corporate Quality/Compliance Officer since 1987.

Hunhoff's political experience began with her work as Commissioner for the City of Yankton from 1991 to 1997. She served as the mayor for the City of Yankton from 1995 to 1997.
