Julie Bartling (b. July 1, 1958) is a Democratic member of the South Dakota House of Representatives representing District 21. She was first elected to the chamber in 2000, and began her current tenure in the House in 2012. She currently serves as Assistant Minority Leader.

Bartling served in the South Dakota State Senate, representing District 26 from 2005 to 2011.

Bartling received her diploma from Burke High School in 1976.

Bartling was appointed as Deputy Auditor for Gregory County, South Dakota, in 1981 and worked there for two years. She went on to become Auditor for Gregory County South Dakota in 1983. She worked in this position until 2001. She is now a business owner.

Bartling ran for State Auditor in 2010 and did not run for re-election to her Senate seat. She was defeated by Steve Barnett (R).
