Katherine A. Klausmeier is a Democratic member of the Maryland State Senate, representing District 8. She was first elected to the chamber in 2002. Klausmeier is running for re-election in the primary on June 26, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
Klausmeier served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1995 to 2003.
Klausmeier earned her A.A. from Essex Community College in 1971. Her professional experience includes developing the Child Life Department at St. Joseph Hospital.
