  • Policy Positions

Idaho State Legislative Election 2018 Political Courage Test

    Abortion & Reproductive

    1. Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
    - Pro-life

    2. Should abortion be legal when the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape?
    - No

    3. Do you support the prohibition of public funds for organizations that perform abortions?
    - Yes

    4. Other or expanded principles
    - Abortion is murder. I would sponsor a personhood at fertilization bill if elected.

    Budget, Spending, & Tax

    Budget Stabilization:

Indicate which proposals you support (if any) for balancing Idaho's budget.

    1. Reducing state employee salaries AND/OR pensions?
    - Yes

    2. Instituting mandatory furloughs AND/OR layoffs for state employees?
    - Yes

    3. Reducing benefits for Medicaid recipients?
    - Yes

    4. An income tax increase on any tax bracket?
    - No

    5. Other or expanded principles
    - Public schools are not the proper role of government. Any state could phase out public schools and encourage online learning , thereby freeing up an amazing amount of money for the proper role of government.

    Campaign Finance & Government Reform

    1. Do you support any limits on campaign contributions to state candidates?
    - No

    2. Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
    - Yes

    3. Do you support the use of an independent AND/OR bipartisan commission for redistricting?
    - Yes

    4. Do you support requiring a government-issued photo identification in order to vote at the polls?
    - Yes

    5. Other or expanded principles
    - We need to return to constitutional representation by geographical representation- by counties. By its nature redistricting leaves too much room for corruption. The change from geographical representation to voting districts was wrongfully decided by the Supreme Court in Reynolds v Sims. See Article 4, Section 4 of the US Constitution.

    Crime & Public Safety

    1. Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
    - Yes

    2. Do you support the legalization of marijuana for recreational purposes?
    - No

    3. Should a minor accused of a violent crime be prosecuted as an adult?
    - Yes

    4. Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration laws by state and local police?
    - Yes

    5. Do you support the legalization of Cannabidiol Oil (CBD) for medical purposes?
    - Yes

    6. Do you support prohibiting the use of handheld electronic devices while operating a motor vehicle?
    - No

    7. Other or expanded principles
    - States already have laws against distracted driving. These laws can be expanded to include handheld devices. More laws are not the answer. With the passing of more laws comes more restrictions on our freedom.

    Economic

    - No

    2. Do you support lowering state taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?

    - No

    5. Other or expanded principles
    - Some classes in Idaho have many students who have Spanish as their first language thus making reading test scores not applicable. The 10th summary point of the Communist Manifesto (1848) is, "Free education for all children in public schools."

    Legislative Priorities

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
    - My first priority is the sanctity of life. I would sponsor a bill for personhood at fertilization . My second priority is to stop transgender surgeries and chemicals used for this procedure. My third priority is to eliminate communist public education.
