Liberals Love Resistance Hero Mitt Romney Now After Trashing Him In 2012
February 6, 2020Failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney made his mark on history on Wednesday when he became the lone Republican to vote for President Trump's removal from office.
That Romney would join with Democrats was never really in doubt but in the latest of his recent failures, the feckless wonder was incapable of influencing other GOP senators to rebel against the POTUS who he is jealous of.
Now that Romney has forever established that he is an untrustworthy snake to Trump supporters and conservatives, he will wear his yes vote as a scarlet letter of shame for the duration of his political career.

But the nation's second biggest sore loser who is only behind Hillary Clinton can take some comfort that the very same people who despised him in 2012 when he choked like a dog against Barack Obama are now singing his praises.
Once reviled by the left as a misogynist with binders full of women, a tax cheat, a job destroyer and a dog torturer among other things, Romney is being showered with praise by Trump hating miscreants as a man of integrity and honor.
You just can't make stuff like this up.
According to the roiling cauldron of Trump hatred The Daily Beast, "Mitt Romney’s Profile in Courage":
Mitt Romney did the right thing, even though it will cause him a tremendous amount of mockery and grief, and even though his vote won’t be enough to remove Trump from office.
After witnessing countless acts of cowardice these last few years, it was uplifting to see somebody (literally, one person) in the Republican party do the right thing. We take small victories where we can get them. We take inspiration where we find it. No matter how confident you are, we all tend to take our cues from role models, whether it’s standing up to bullies or standing up to presidents. If Mitt can do it, we can now say, maybe I can, too?
It is true that Romney’s fortune insulates him from worries about losing his job. It is also true that he is not up for re-election in 2020. And, of course, he hails from a state that might forgive him. But these things were also true of other Republicans who could not muster the courage to take a stand against Trump’s obvious abuse.
Romney's vote was delivered after a nauseatingly self-serving speech delivered on the Senate floor and he was hailed by Hollywood weirdos as if he was the second coming of Jimmy Stewart's character Jefferson Smith in the iconic 1939 film Mr. Smith Goes To Washington.
While Romney can bask in the glow of adoration from the same people who hated him when he ran against Barack Obama, his vote against Trump will be the final straw for many including in Utah where the carpetbagging multi-millionaire duped voters and where legislation to recall him is now being proposed.
VOTE NOW: Is Trump Worthy Of A Second Term?
The newly acquitted President Trump wasted no time in sticking the needle into Romney with a devastating fusillade from his Twitter account by rubbing Mitt's nose into his 2012 failure.
According to the POTUS:
Had failed presidential candidate @MittRomney devoted the same energy and anger to defeating a faltering Barack Obama as he sanctimoniously does to me, he could have won the election.
And there is no arguing with that because Romney totally blew it against a weakened Obama because he lacked the spine to fight back against the same mob that is now hailing him as a hero of the resistance.
