LOL! Lindsey Graham Says Dem Calls to Defund Police are 'Crazy S**t'
July 9, 2020There are times when we still don’t quite know how to take Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), after he spent so many years as a RINO.
But after his short-lived and ultimately failed attempt to run for president – and after the death of his longtime friend and political ally Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) – he seems to have either had a political epiphany or he’s reverting back to his conservative roots.
In any event, whether the Trump-allied Graham we see these days is really Lindsey 1.0 or the transformed Lindsey 2.0, he’s certainly loosened up quite a bit and seems more a Republican politician for the times.

Thursday evening during an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity,” Graham ripped former Vice President Joe Biden for backing the Left-wing insanity of ‘defunding’ all police departments, and it was epic.
“Well, I tell you something right now. If you’re looking for a place to come where none of this crazy s**t will happen, come to South Carolina,” he said, when asked about what happens if Biden wins the presidency.
Wow. Mic drop.
“We are not going to defund the police. We are not going to destroy capitalism. We’re going to let you work hard, and the harder you work, the better you do in South Carolina. But what I’m going to do is take the mob’s bill, the Squad’s bill — I’m going to introduce it and ask everybody in the Senate to vote on it," Graham continued, referencing the Marxist wing of the Democrat Party -- Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib.
“When Joe Biden means 'transform the country,' what do you mean, Joe? Are you with them? If you’re not with them, tell me how you’re different. To every Democratic senator, what do you think about defunding the police? Are you are with the Squad? If you’re not, tell them why you're not with them. We need to vote on this stuff, not just talk about it on cable TV. Let's vote on their ideas and see where the Senate is," Graham continued.
On Wednesday, the former vice president said he essentially supported those who are calling for ‘defunding the police’ in the wake of the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis cops in May.
"But do we agree that we can redirect some of the police funding?” Biden was asked. He responded, “Yes, absolutely.”
Biden added that police departments don’t need military gear and said that such equipment contributes to the view among some residents that they have become the “enemy.”
RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and other Republicans pushed back hard on Biden’s statements.

"Newsflash: 'Redirect funding' from the police is the same as 'defund' the police,” she tweeted along with a clip from the interview. “Biden has totally caved to the far left, and it’s why he would be a disaster as President!”
Some big cities have already announced they would either defund their entire police department (Minneapolis) or redirect hundreds of millions in police funding to other favored liberal priorities such as ‘investments’ in ‘minority communities.’
In each of those cities, violent crime is already rising.
