MLB Season Opener Features Every Player Bending The Knee
July 24, 2020On Thursday night the delayed Major League Baseball season finally commenced with the defending World Series champion Washington Nationals hosting the New York Yankees.
With the actual game being secondary to the political spectacle, all players on both teams took a knee before the playing of the national anthem although they did stand during the Star-Spangled Banner, a contrast to their NFL counterparts.
The kneeling represented the league's unconditional surrender to the Marxist-inspired, militant Black Lives Matter movement and players held a black cloth in tribute, creating the bizarre imagery of slaves yoked together.

For fans who have been deprived of sports since mid-March, the politically-charged display shows that if sports fans are going to watch the games, they will have to accept being brainwashed by leftist propaganda in the process.

Via USA Today, "'The first step': Yankees, Nationals players all kneel before national anthem in MLB opener":
Though it was the novel coronavirus that delayed Major League Baseball’s Opening Day by nearly four months, the social reckoning that occurred along the way could not be ignored before it was time to play ball.
In a coordinated gesture between the reigning World Series champion Washington Nationals and New York Yankees before the first major league game played this year Thursday night, players clutched a black cloth that winded from the Nationals’ first base line around to the Yankees on the third-base line.
Then, before a pre-recorded rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, every player and coach out for pregame introductions took a knee on the grass, for about 20 seconds.
With no fans in the stands as baseball re-starts while mitigating the risks and worries of COVID-19, the park was particularly silent for the moment, which comes nearly two months after the killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer. The subsequent protests that galvanized the Black Lives Matter movement and precipitated a global racial awakening of sorts found its way to baseball.

Thursday's other game between division rivals the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants was also marred by promoting the Black Lives Matter agenda as will all games during this shortened fiasco of a season.

The game's other big political statement was tabbing the swamp's hometown hero and career bureaucrat Dr. Anthony Fauci to throw out the ceremonial first pitch which was as wildly off the mark as the models that he has used to justify the destruction of the nation's thriving economy.
The controversial Fauci has been deified by the resistance media and politicians as a sort of national leader and a counter to President Trump who he has repeatedly been at odds with during his flurry of media appearances.
Whether the decision by the overlords of "America's pastime" to go full BLM will be a ratings catastrophe has yet to be seen but it isn't exactly ancient history when sports was a unifying experience and Americans tuned into the games to escape the trials and tribulations of daily life.
Expect millions of those people to become former fans.
With sports now having been polluted by far-left politics, fans should get used to seeing their multimillionaire heroes assuming the position of a cowed and conquered people.
The Yankees beat Team Swamp 4-1 in a game that was called off after 6 innings due to stormy weather.
