Pelosi Takes Heavy Fire After Ripping Up SOTU Speech On National Television
February 5, 2020Nancy Pelosi just couldn't control herself and as a result of her latest temper tantrum, the top Democrat is taking heavy fire after tearing up her copy of President Trump's historic State Of The Union address.
Granted that it has been an absolutely miserable week for Madame Speaker with her cadre of House impeachment managers going down in flames after the Senate voted against calling disgruntled John Bolton as a witness.
Then there was the crushing Super Bowl loss of her beloved hometown San Francisco 49ers who snatched defeat from the jaws of victory and blew a 10-point fourth quarter lead in the NFL's title game on Sunday.

Her week of suffering then got much worse when voters finally went to the polls in Iowa only to suffer through the humiliation of a failure to tabulate results when a mysterious new app bailed to perform.
The SOTU was Hell on earth for nervous Nancy who had to sit behind Trump as he delivered a towering speech that all but sealed the deal on his reelection after snubbing her attempt at a handshake.
With her face going through a full range of motions as she sucked on her dentures and fumed, Pelosi finally lost it when she tore up the historic document.
It was not a good look for Pelosi and losing it on national television is not a good omen for Democrats whose three-year resistance against the POTUS is disintegrating before their eyes at the worst possible time.
And she is being deservedly blasted into oblivion this morning on Twitter as the hashtags #PelosiTantrum, #PettyPelosi and #NancytheRipper already trending with more to come.

After she had composed herself and stomped out of the chamber, Pelosi was forced into damage control mode.

Seeing Pelosi, the U.S. House of Representatives speaker, for the first time since she stormed out of a White House meeting four months ago, Trump declined to shake her outstretched hand as he gave her a paper copy of his remarks before starting to speak.
Despite having not spoken to Trump since their last meeting, Pelosi appeared to be taken aback. She avoided citing the customary “high privilege and distinct honor” that usually accompanies the speaker’s introduction of the president to Congress.
“Members of Congress, the President of the United States” was all she said in introducing Trump.
When his speech ended, Pelosi stood and tore up her copy of the remarks he had handed her, later telling reporters it was “the courteous thing to do, considering the alternative.”
Madame Speaker did not elaborate on that "alternative" but it doesn't take much of an imagination to get a good idea of what she probably meant.
Democrats are reaping what they have sowed and with the suspicion from Bernie Sanders supporters that the Iowa caucus debacle may not have been simply the result of a software glitch but a sign that the DNC is willing to go to extremes to derail his 2020 White House bid, her party is on the brink of a complete fracture.
To make matters worse for Pelosi, the Senate will vote this afternoon on the acquittal of President Trump and at that time, it will be clear that her pre-Christmas impeachment gamble came up snake eyes.
Say good bye to the gavel...
