Peter Breen is a Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing District 48. Breen was first elected to the chamber in 2014. Breen is running for re-election in 2018. The primary election took place on March 20, 2018. The general election is being held on November 6, 2018.

Breen previously served as a trustee on the Lombard Village Board.

Breen earned his Bachelor of Engineering in electrical engineering from Vanderbilt University and his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame. His professional experience includes working as the vice president and senior counsel of the Thomas More Society, a national not-for-profit law firm that focuses on the defense of First Amendment rights.
