REVEALED: John Durham Looking at FBI's Handling of Clinton Foundation Probe
September 24, 2020It’s no wonder President Donald Trump so triggers the swamp he seeks to drain. Because he’s not one of them, he has no problem going after any of them, including those presumed to be so high up the political food chain they are considered ‘untouchable.’
Like Bill and Hillary Clinton.
The New York Times reported Thursday that U.S. Attorney John Durham, who was assigned by Attorney General William Barr to probe the origins of the FBI’s ‘counterintelligence’ investigation into the fabricated ‘Russian collusion’ narrative, is also reviewing the bureau’s probe of the Clinton Foundation.

Naturally calling the investigation “politically charged,” the Times reported:
Mr. Durham, the U.S. attorney in Connecticut assigned by Mr. Barr to review the Russia inquiry, has sought documents and interviews about how federal law enforcement officials handled an investigation around the same time into allegations of political corruption at the Clinton Foundation, according to people familiar with the matter.
Mr. Durham’s team members have suggested to others that they are comparing the two investigations as well as examining whether investigators in the Russia inquiry flouted laws or policies. It was not clear whether Mr. Durham’s investigators were similarly looking for violations in the Clinton Foundation investigation, nor whether the comparison would be included or play a major role in the outcome of Mr. Durham’s inquiry.
You may recall that after then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself in 2017 shortly after taking office, Deputy Attorney General appointed Robert Mueller to investigate the fake collusion claims; he would go on to find none.
Shortly after Mueller’s appointment, under pressure from Republicans, Sessions tasked Utah-based U.S. Attorney John Huber to look into “several issues, including the FBI's corruption investigation into the 2010 Uranium One deal and allegations that Clinton orchestrated a ‘quid pro quo,’” the Washington Examiner reported.
In January 2018, the FBI revived an investigation into donations made to the Clinton Foundation on allegations that some may have illegally come from foreign sources, the Chicago Tribune reported, adding:
The FBI has been investigating the Clinton Foundation for months, reviving a probe that was dialed back during the 2016 campaign amid tensions between Justice Department prosecutors and FBI agents about the politically charged case, according to people familiar with the matter.
The inquiry resumed about a year ago. Agents are now trying to determine if any donations made to the foundation were linked to official acts when Hillary Clinton was secretary of state from 2009 to 2013, these people said. The people did not identify what specific donations or interactions agents are scrutinizing.
Nothing has ever come of these probes except additional questions as new snippets of evidence were dug up by real investigative reporters (yes, they do still exist).
Until now…maybe.
Barr said in 2019 he was going to hand off Huber’s investigation, which reportedly did not amount to much, to Durham.

Peter Schweizer, head of the Government Accountability Institute, examined the Clinton Foundation matter for his 2015 book Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich.
“The Clintons … often take money from foreign entities. And that money, donated to the Clinton Foundation or paid in speaking fees, comes in amounts much larger than any campaign contribution,” Schweizer wrote.
“As a result, the Clintons have become exceedingly wealthy. The big question is whether taking such money constitutes a transaction. The Clintons would undoubtedly argue that it does not. The evidence in this book suggests otherwise.”
If Schweizer has found evidence of something, should we accept that the FBI and Justice Department can't find the same evidence?
