Rush Limbaugh: Fox News' Ratings PROVE the Left Doesn't Dominate America
August 10, 2020Even at a time when his own health is questionable as he battles cancer, conservative talk legend Rush Limbaugh gives us reason to hope – not just that he’ll win his battle, but that our country isn’t as bad off as some of us believe that it is.
Conservatives know that most if not all of our ‘institutions’ have been infiltrated and taken over by Leftists, and of course, that includes the ‘mainstream media.’
But during his Monday program, Rush pointed out a reality that too many of us forget: Despite the fact that most major media outlets have been co-opted by the Left, the fact that one – Fox News – continues to dominate all the others proves that the Marxists aren’t as domineering as they likely believe.

Per Rush's website:
The first thing I want to address is something that comes up frequently both in my private emails from you, conversations with my friends, and phone calls from you on the program. And that is the fear that we’re losing, the fear that we are now outnumbered, the fear that the left has finally pulled it off because of Twitter and because of the Drive-By Media and the way they make things appear. They constantly get away with laughing at us, making fun of us, impugning us, destroying us. And they have this created this illusion that a majority of Americans literally support the destruction of American cities, like Portland and like Seattle.
And I’m here to tell you nothing could be further from the truth, but I want to give you some evidence.
"Fox News Channel is the most-watched television network of all networks in June and July. More than ABC, more than NBC, more than CBS. More viewers than the big three over-the-air broadcast networks. Those over-the-air broadcast networks are considered to be the creme de la creme. They are considered to be the kings of potential audience reach," he added.
Believe it or not, even the extremely biased New York Times corroborated Rush.
"In June and July, Fox News was the highest-rated television channel in the prime-time hours of 8 to 11 p.m. Not just on cable. Not just among news networks. All of television. The average live Fox News viewership in those hours outstripped cable rivals like CNN, MSNBC and ESPN, as well as the broadcast networks ABC, CBS and NBC, according to Nielsen," the Times' Michael Grynebaum reported.
That’s no small feat. There are a lot of programming choices out there, and in terms of ‘conservative’ news programming, Fox is getting some competition now from start-ups like One American News and Newsmax TV.
So, for the right-leaning network to continue dominating even the large, well-established networks, that’s a big deal.

But Rush wasn’t through proving his point that the Left doesn’t own our attention span.
"From noon to three the most listened to program in America is the Rush Limbaugh program. Our model projections have us at 55 million users. Our actual, real — what are the actual, real ratings now from the ratings companies that we acknowledge and accept?" he said Monday.
"So we’re at 28 million, which is a record, 28 million cume in a week. That means — gee, folks. That means in any 15-minute sweep seven million people are listening to the program at any time, 28 million unduplicated," Rush continued. "[T]here's there’s simply no way this happens in a country dominated by the left."
He's right, of course.
