Ryan Maher (b. August 19, 1977) is a Republican member of the South Dakota State Senate, representing District 28. He was first elected to the chamber in 2016. He previously represented Senate District 28 from 2006 to 2015. During that time, Maher served as Senate majority whip.

Maher earned his B.S. in accounting from Black Hills State University in 2000. He went on to receive his M.S. in banking from Colorado Graduate School of Banking in 2007.

Maher was a member of the Isabel School Board from 2002 to 2007.

Maher worked as an auditor for the Office of Inspector General, United States Department of Health, from 2000 to 2002. He then worked as county executive director for Farm Service Agency from 2002 to 2004. From 2004 to 2008, he worked as a loan officer for Farmers State Bank. He became the owner of Sparker Bar and Grill in 2005.
