Georgia State Legislative Election 2018 Political Courage Test

Abortion & Reproductive

1. Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
- Pro-choice

2. Should abortion be legal when the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape?
- Yes

3. Do you support the prohibition of public funds for organizations that perform abortions?
- No

4. Other or expanded principles
- I believe in equality for all and women's rights. I support a woman's right to choose what health decisions she feels is best for her well being. Organizations that provide abortions also provide many other health resources and we cannot decrease funding because that would be detrimental to many people who need these vital resources.

1. Reducing state employee salaries AND/OR pensions?
- No

2. Instituting mandatory furloughs AND/OR layoffs for state employees?
- No

3. Reducing benefits for Medicaid recipients?

4. Do you support requiring a government-issued photo identification in order to vote at the polls?
- No

5. Other or expanded principles
- I do not want to put any extra burdens on voters because this leads to voter suppression. Voting should be easily accessible for everyone as long as they are registered to vote and of voting age. We should also make it easier for ex-felons, who have served their sentence, to register to vote.
