Trump Smacks Down 'RINO' Romney Over Roger Stone Comments
July 12, 2020President Trump struck back at his nemesis Mitt Romney after the Utah senator's savage comments over the commuting of Roger Stone's prison sentence.
On Friday night, Trump intervened to spare the 67-year-old Stone from a possible death sentence after he was railroaded by Mueller's goons and a partisan hack of a judge who was appointed by Barack Obama.

The president's very appropriate act of mercy toward the longtime GOP consultant and operative triggered Mitt who took to his Twitter feed to decry a man who he thoroughly despises.
Pierre Delecto squealed:
"Unprecedented, historic corruption: an American president commutes the sentence of a person convicted by a jury of lying to shield that very president."
Pennsylvania Senator Pat Toomey who is another Never Trumper also blasted the POTUS.
And on Saturday night, Trump returned fire:
Via The Hill, "Trump lashes out at Toomey, Romney after Roger Stone clemency criticism":
President Trump late Saturday lashed out at a pair of Republican senators after they criticized his decision to commute the prison sentence of longtime confidant and former campaign adviser Roger Stone.
In a tweet, Trump accused Sens. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) and Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) of being “RINOS,” a pejorative meaning “Republican in name only.”
"Do RINO’S Pat Toomey & Mitt Romney have any problem with the fact that we caught Obama, Biden, & Company illegally spying on my campaign?" Trump asked in a tweet, claiming that an investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election included "lying and leaking all the way."
"NO!" he added.
Romney and Toomey are so far the only Republican senators to publicly rebuke Trump's move to commute Stone's sentence. The former Republican operative was due to report to prison on Tuesday to serve a 40-month sentence for crimes uncovered in former special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russian interference and Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.
Not that Romney cares about Obama's illegal spying on the Trump campaign and its team members or loyalists of the former president weaponizing the FBI and Justice Department for political purposes.
Hell, he was on board with it the entire time and even became the only Republican in the Senate to join Democrats during the impeachment sham, voting to convict him on one of the bogus charges.
Romney was best described by President Trump as a "pompous ass" in a tweet from last year that must have really stung the petty, vainglorious former governor of ultra-liberal Massachusetts.
Per Trump:
"Mitt Romney never knew how to win. He is a pompous “ass” who has been fighting me from the beginning, except when he begged me for my endorsement for his Senate run (I gave it to him), and when he begged me to be Secretary of State (I didn’t give it to him). He is so bad for R’s!"

The president has practically bent over backward to Romney even after the conniving closet Democrat worked to undermine his White House run even if it would have swung the race to Hillary Clinton.
He buried the hatchet and like a true statesman, Trump even endorsed the carpetbagger’s Senate campaign when he moved to Utah, a state that he didn’t even reside in to replace retired Republican Orrin Hatch.
And yet, Romney still hates Trump which could stem from jealousy that the billionaire businessman outsider who Mitt begged for support in 2012 was able to appeal to the people as a phony like he never could.
There are few members of Congress who are more dishonorable than Romney and he continues to show it.
