Two women have been indicted on hate crime charges following a confrontation last month with supporters of President Trump at the Democratic National Convention in Wilmington, Del.

According to Delaware News Journal, Olivia Winslow and Camryn Amy, 21-year-olds from Wilmington, were indicted by a grand jury Tuesday.

A video uploaded to social media shows the two women damaging signs and grabbing a red MAGA hat from a group of Trump supporters protesting former Vice President Joe Biden's nomination for the Democratic presidential bid.

A boy can be heard saying, "That's somebody else's hat," before Winslow picks it up off the ground and throws it. The boy then says, "Call 911" to his mother as the women walk off with the hat.

A later shot of the video shows a man attempting to get his hat back, but a second suspect appears to punch him before throwing the hat over a fence.

The confrontation was posted by Students for Trump on Twitter and has garnered millions of views, and it was even shared by Donald Trump Jr.

The women were arrested shortly after the incident and were charged with second-degree conspiracy, endangering a child's welfare, third-degree assault, attempted third-degree assault, offensive touching and felony hate crimes.

Wilmington police said they identified the women after reviewing the video footage.

The hate crimes charges attached to the indictment could lead to the most prison time for the women involved, as three of the seven charges they face collectively are punishable by 15 years.

Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings issued a written statement Tuesday about the incident, saying, "harming another person — let alone a child — because of the expression of their views betrays the principles on which our country was founded."

A spokesman for Jennings said Tuesday the two women are out on bail. It is not clear when they will be arraigned for the charges.
